Worship in Sanctuary & Other Gatherings
Beloved Church Family and Friends,
To fulfill our call to love our neighbors as ourselves, we continue to modify our safety protocols based on updated guidance and conditions. Please read and prepare to follow the instructions below and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Though we hope to see you at church, please note that weekly worship will continue to be livestreamed and posted to Facebook, so if you aren’t able to attend you may still worship with us.
FOR WORSHIP SERVICE:
*Please do not attend in-person worship if you are not feeling well, if you have any symptoms of illness, or if you or someone in your immediate household comes in contact with a known or a suspected case of COVID-19.
*Face masks are strongly recommended for individuals who have not received the Covid-19 vaccine, particularly when indoors. If you are fully vaccinated, masks are optional based on your comfort level.
*All building entrances are available to access the sanctuary.
*Temperature checks will no longer be performed.
*Hand sanitizers are available throughout the buildings.
*All pews are available. We ask that you keep social distancing in mind as you choose a seat.
*Bulletins and hymnals will be part of the worship service.
*Offering will not be collected during the service; there will be an offering plate at the entrance/exit.
*We will not participate in the traditional passing of the peace.
*Nursery and Children’s Church (age 3-3rd grade) are available. Children are always welcome in Worship!
*If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 within two weeks of attending a worship service, the Conference requests that you contact the pastor or the Church Council Chairperson (Angie Thorne) so that contact-tracing may be done. Your name will not be shared with others without your permission, but we are required to do everything we can to prevent spread.
FOR OTHER GATHERINGS:
Please follow the guidelines above regarding masks, social distancing, hand sanitizer, etc.
Thank you for the many ways that you remain faithful to your baptismal covenant, including supporting the church with your prayers, gifts, service and witness at times when presence isn’t possible, and by reading and adhering to these procedures. May you continue to know God’s great blessings as together we follow our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
